Mitsubishi had a great sales year in 2014, and are now looking to expand on that success by creating some fresh offerings. According to CEO Osamu Masuko, two new Mitsubishi models could be ready as early as next year.
According to Automotive News, in addition to the Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid crossover and Mirage sedan, Mitsubishi is planning a plug-in hybrid version of the Outlander Sport and the Montero SUV.
The really good news here is not just that Mitsubishi had a great sales year, or even just that new Mitsubishi models are coming to America. The truly great news is that Mitsubishi is doing well in the US and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
“We are trying to introduce new vehicles,” Osamu Masuko told AutoNews. “We aren’t thinking of withdrawing whatsoever.”
Here at Mountaineer Mitsubishi, we are ecstatic about all of the good news that’s been coming Mitsubishi’s way lately. And while the new Mitsubishi models sound promising, there are plenty of other great vehicles available in their current lineup, as well. Stop by and test drive one today!by
