Written by Jill Eisenstadt, From Rockaway follows the story of a group of friends who recently graduated high school. The main character, Alex, travels away from her home town of “Rotaway” thanks to a college scholarship. Her friends and ex, on the other hand, enter the workforce and drink the nights away. Sooner or later, they have to reunite.
Everyone Brave is Forgiven
This novel by Chris Cleave tells the tale of an 18-year old working to do her part to support the WWII war effort at home. She soon finds herself caught in the center of a love triangle. In the end, she must face love and war head-on.
Relativity
Antonia Hayes’ book follows 12-year-old Ethan, a boy with a knack for physics. He soon finds himself hospitalized. Soon enough, his mother and father reunite to take on the events that separated the family in the first place.
