Mitsubishi is a brand that is always willing to lend a helping hand. Mitsubishi dealerships have a long and proud history of aiding various causes in the communities they call home. Recently, Mitsubishi teamed up with one of its dealerships to make a big difference for one local nonprofit.
According to a Mitsubishi press release, Mitsubishi donated $30,000 to the American Red Cross of the Heartland.
The donation was a dual effort by the Mitsubishi Motors USA Foundation and the O’Brien Mitsubishi dealership, located in Normal, Illinois.
The Red Cross of the Heartland will use the donated money to help fund their Red Cross Home Fire campaign, which aims to install smoke detectors in at-risk locations throughout the community.
“The American Red Cross is a great organization that works to improve the well-being of the community,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president, MMNA. “We’re honored to play a part in the Red Cross Home Fire campaign and trust that the donation made today will further their efforts.”
When it comes to helping those in need, Mitsubishi works to do its part in the community.by
